across this new post I pay tribute to this great HBO series that dates back several years now. I agree with a friend, who also saw the series when I once said: "The truth is that Gandolfini scary." As a good film buff on the mob, one of the things I liked about The Sopranos, among many others, is that the actors were cast Italian-Americans who had seen previously in films of Martin Scorsese.
