Left Hector Beas and people from other stands browsing our portfolio of drawings. Der. Carlos Baroccelli, Ramiro Rossi, Hector Beas and me. As the title of this post so indicates, the 14th and 15th November at the Centro Municipal Distrito Sur "Rosa Ziperovich" of the city of Rosario, the convention "Illustrators", organized by the ADL, Coastal Association of Illustrators. In this event shows were held drawing, silkscreen, models, fanzines, and were handed cartoon drawing workshops and script.
counted with the participation of professional artists as Hector Beas, Osvaldo Laino, Horacio Lalia, Eduardo Risso, Marcelo Frusin, Max Aguirre, Salvador Sanz, Leonardo Fernandez, Esteban Tolj, Lucas Varela, José Massaroli, Gabriel Ipolitti, et al.
People from other provinces of Tucumán, Mendoza, Entre Rios and Buenos Aires also had their own space and it showed.
For work reasons, I could be present at the event only on Saturday 14 in the morning, exposing some of my work at the booth of Independent Writers and Illustrators, which I shared with friends involved in hanging and the world of independent comics.
I had the pleasure also to meet personally and share a conversation with Hector Beas, cartoonist for the newspaper La Capital, with Carlos Baroccelli also chairman of the ADL, and Ramiro Rossi, draftsman and caricaturist of Santa Fe, Rosario came to his people that morning.
Note that this and the subsequent "ARTISTS" Illustrators of the Coastal Association organized in from now on will be to the benefit of a public welfare institution for children. For the first Illustrators chose to CENAIH, Civil Association nonprofit that works in Rosario since 1989 and works with children with leukemia.
